Admission
The school academics session starts in the first week of April every year and ends on March 31st of the subsequent year. Hence application for admission must orderly reach the school latest by March 1 in the year that admission is sought.
It is desirable that all admission formalities be completed well before the end of March. However limited vaccancies may exist in the middle of the academic year. Information on the midyear vacancies may be obtained by e-mailing the shool Admission Coordinator. However it is best to apply early.
Steps for Apply
Prior Registration
Prior Registration is an important condition for admission and the children can be registered for any academic year as per the choice of parents.
Submit Application
Application form is to be filled in & submitted in the school’s administrative office within one week of its issuance. If the admissions coordinators decide to move forward with the application, then the formal process begins.
Review The Submission
The application, references, and transcripts are reviewed by the admissions coordinator and teaching staff to determine if the school can likely meet the academic needs of the student.
Written Assessment
There will be written Assessment for students seeking admission to classes I and above. Only those candidates who clear the written assessment will be called for the interaction and the family is notified by the Admissions Coordinator.
Interaction Process
During the interaction presence of both parents is essential. This interaction provides a chance for the family to ask in-depth questions about being a part of the school. Also, it gives us insight into a potential student’s personality, interests, values, and personal goals.
Final Decision
Once the above steps are satisfactorily completed parents will receive an admission offer and may pay the applicable fees to confirm admission. Admission to Excelsior Convent School is entirely at the discretion of the School Authorities.
Please Note:
Admission to Pre-Nursery, Nursery & Prep will be through Observation/Interaction. Dates of interaction will be intimated. Both Parents are advised to be present on the occasion.
At the time of registration, the following documents are to be submitted in Administrative office.
- Registration Form duly filled in & signed.
- Two Passport size coloured photographs.
- Proof of Date of Birth (Issued by Municipal Corporation or other authorised competent authority.)
- Complete medical report.
- School leaving certificate indicating his/her last class and result.
